The Swim Challenge – kicks off this week!

It’s time for TSC’s annual swim a thon and it’s got a new name this year:

The Swim Challenge

The event remains the same – swimmers from the B3 to National groups will challenge themselves to swim 5km in 2 hours or less. B4 swimmers will swim 3,000m in 1.5 hours and, new to the event this year, our Intro swimmers will challenge themselves to swim continuously for one hour.

The goal of this fundraising event is to raise money that will be used to help keep our swim fees down. We are a non-profit organization and so this fundraiser is an important way to help offset significant increases in the club’s operating expenses – primarily in pool rental fees. The funds may also be used to help build the club capacity through the purchasing of new equipment and supporting advanced coaching education.
